About the mold: The TeeBird is one of our most accurate and reliable fairway drivers. It has a combination of straight flight, high glide and good speed that make it accurate and long flying both upwind and downwind. It is a popular choice for pros including 12 time World Champion and Hall-of-Famer Ken Climo as well as 2009 World Champion Avery Jenkins. The Teebird is very versatile driver; Excellent for pin-point accuracy, distance and sidearm.
Some notes on the plastic: This blend of Champion plastic is opaque, grippy, slightly flexible and highly sought after. It first appeared in the earliest runs of Champion plastic between 2004 and 2006. In 2004, Innova transitioned the Teebird from CE / KC Pro to Champion plastic. That run was stamped with the “Eleven Time” stamp, until 2006 when “The Champ” won his twelfth world title. When Innova introduced flight numbers and phased out patent numbers, the stamp changed again from “Twelve Time” to “12x”. Most of the opaque, grippy teebirds are from the “Eleven Time” era. They are typically marked by CA tooling and patent numbers on the underside.
