About the mold: The Orc is one of our most popular, straight flying distance drivers. It combines speed with accuracy for very long range, predictable flights. Great for straight ahead power shots and long hyzer shots. Suitable for powerful throwers, but still manageable by beginners in lighter weights.
Some notes on the plastic: Pro Line plastic is not the same as modern Pro plastic. From 2000 to 2002 Innova made a unique translucent blend of plastic and called it Champion Edition. From 2003 to 2004 the name changed to Pro Line or Candy Pro. In 2004 the name of this blend was changed to Champion. As a result there is a lot of confusion between Champion Edition, Pro Line, Candy Pro, and Champion. Luckily, the Orc was not released until January 2004, so it was only ever available in Champion, DX, and Pro plastics. There was also a limited run of Special Blend Orcs made that pre-date the introduction of Star plastic. Older runs of Champion Orc are flat, gummy, pearly, opaque, and notoriously overstable. The more transparent, domey runs tend to be stiffer and straighter with more glide.
