About the mold: In lighter weights gives new players extra distance. Lighter weights also give players extreme range when thrown downwind, while maximum weights can give excellent upwind distance. The Valkyrie’s high speed turn and flight characteristics make it great choice for long range turnover shots and rollers.
Some notes on the plastic: Champion Edition plastic is not the same as modern Champion plastic. From 2000 to 2002 Innova made a unique translucent blend of plastic and called it Champion Edition. From 2003 to 2004 the name changed to Pro Line or Candy Pro. In 2004 the name of this blend was changed to Champion and that’s the name they stuck with. As a result there is a lot of confusion between Champion Edition, Pro Line, Candy Pro, and Champion. To add to the confusion, there are variations within each blend ranging from opaque, pearly, and firm to crystal clear, soft, and gummy, to cloudy and tacky. You will see the same type of variation in the JK Pro Valkyries and 11x KC Pro plastic. The pearly, stiff CE/Pro Line reportedly tends to be more overstable whereas the gummy, clear CE/Pro Line are usually a bit touchier and the cloudy, tacky CE/Pro Line falls right in the middle. Modern Pro plastic was formulated as a step above DX but below Champion. This specific disc has a warped flight plate.
