About the Mold: The Gazelle is great overall disc for players of all skill levels because of its versatility and control. It is a dependable driver that has long straight flight with a predictable fade at the end. The Gazelle works well in headwind conditions for both long and medium range shots. It has a narrow rim that is easy for smaller hands to grip.
Some Notes on this Disc: 11x KC Pro plastic was made from 2003 to 2005. This blend was mostly the later CE/Champion opaque translucent type of plastic. It’s said that in the later years of the 10x run, Innova started mixing more of the CE material with the KC Pro blend, giving it that more translucent look. That obviously carried over into the 11x run, which ranges from opaque translucent, to crystal clear and gummy, with some stiff and pearly ones mixed in there as well. It’s not much different from the differences between CE/Pro Line/ Candy Pro in that respect. This specific Gazelle is opaque and translucent. It’s very flat, stiff, tacky, and feels like the later 10x early 11x era.
